Titans Then & Now

Titans Gym was originally opened in 2001 on Church Road in Tranmere and is now on its fourth location at 65 – 69 Old Chester Road in Tranmere. It has recently undergone a total rebuild with a huge investment in to a brand new, custom developed facility. In addition it lays down the marker when it comes to bodybuilding and strength training. Our wide range of facilities allow us to target many markets, including bodybuilding, strength training, and fitness.

Titans Gym now boasts over 80 pieces of individual kit on 3 floors including heavy duty stack loaded machines, plate loaded lever machines, racks and Olympic benches all custom built by UK manufacturers. We also have a fantastic free weights area with a huge set of dumbbells by Jordan Fitness going up to 80kg and plenty of 20kg Olympic discs. Part of our reputation is that you’ll never be short on plates in this gym. In addition to this we have a cardio area equipped with a full range of modern gear from TechnoGym, JTX-Fitness and Concept 2.

All New Strength & Strongman Training Area

Our indoor dedicated Strength & Conditioning area features a lifting platform, power cage, specialist barbells, prowler, kettlebells, plyo boxes, battlerope etc.. This area contains specialist stongman kit including two Logs, Axle, Inch Dumbbells, and a Viking Press. In addition we have a set of Atlas Stones with adjustable steel Stone Wall, Farmers Walk, Yoke, Barrels and Tyre available for use without prior arrangement at all opening hours.

FACILITIES & MORE

In 2023 we have re-opened after much expansion and work to bring you the absolute best version of the gym yet. Everything has been custom built to provide the best possible experience that we can offer.

  • Our upstairs Punchbag area contains a specially fitted wooden sprung floor along with 3 heavy duty Punchbags.
  • There are two vending machines from which you can buy drinks and snacks.
  • Our new changing facilities downstairs include large, unisex, single, private changing cubicles and WC. Upstairs we have a top of the line shower room and WC.
  • Car parking behind the building is ample on the road as well as a free to park council owned public car park to the rear.
  • We are well positioned for local bus routes and Green Lane train station is a short 2 minute walk away.

We operate on a fully staffless system. You can buy your membership right here and be given access to the gym within moments. To get in to the gym please read through the Staffless section. You just scan your QR code at the scanner on the front door, enter when the light goes green then when the door closes behind you the inner door will open with a green light to allow entry. Your membership gives you 30 sessions per month, and they last for however long your membership is bought for.
